Hi, I'm Koray, a product designer from Istanbul.
Long before I designed anything, making was how I got a feeling out of my head and into the world. It's still how I think.
Design is where that habit turned into a living. The tools keep changing, the habit doesn't. Right now the tool is AI, and for the first time I can build an idea almost as fast as I can have it. I'm enjoying that more than I probably should.
Other stuff I do
I play guitar, and I take mine apart and put them back together, sometimes in a better colour. I draw and paint when the mood takes me, and I can talk about Caravaggio for longer than anyone asked me to. Wood, paper or pixels, I don't stop until it fits.
The day job
Over the years I've led the visual design of İşCep for Türkiye's largest private bank, worked on the Saudia airline app, and designed a pension tool for Parmenion in the UK.
These days I'm design lead at Boubyan Bank in Kuwait, working on the mobile app and the design system behind it.
